BOTE calculation gives a descent rate\napproaching 5 km/day, and rapidly increasing. \n\nJust remember that as a practical matter it will be impossible to have Keps\nwith the accuracy we are use to having, because they are literally changing\nsignificantly from orbit to orbit. Leave a wide window on the window. ;)\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Farrell Winder\nSent: Monday, December 26, 2011 9:04 AM\nTo: AMSAT\nSubject: [amsat-bb] ARISSat-1 RADIOSKAF-V KEDR\n\nDoes anyone have a prediction of the lowest altitude for ARISSat-1 and\nstill have it be functional? With the latest Keps I show its altitude\naround 155 miles.\nDepending of signal strength on today's Cincinnati passes I might try\nanother SSTV via the Transponder adjusting my Tx to receive on 145.930\nMHz (+/- depending on location). Hope others will also try with voice and\nvideo.\nFarrell Winder, W8ZCF\nCincinnati, Ohio\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
