"content": "I set up the FT-897D in the back of the Suburban this evening with the hatch open to shield me from the wind and rain. The only problem I had was trying to keep the wind from blowing over the tripod-mounted Arrow antenna. so with one hand on the tripod and the other on the microphone I was successful in working WA4HFN, W7LRV, KC7MG, WC7V, KE4KOL, KB0VXN, AJ9K and W0DHB from here in Bandon by the Sea, Oregon. \n\nI will try SO-50 with my hand held this evening, and I may give the morning pass of FO-29 another try, then we are heading out of here and making our way back home to Utah. \n\nDoc, WA7HQD, CN73sc\n\nSent from my iPad",
