If you haven't come across it before, it's an\nopen-source network of satellite ground stations. There are stations\naround the world, and a large database of the observations they've\ntaken.\n\nJust to run through how I tracked down observations for RS-30:\n\n- I went to https://db.satnogs.org and searched for \"RS-30\" and got to\nthis page: https://db.satnogs.org/satellite/32953/\n\n- I clicked the link to \"SatNOGS Network Observati}ons\":\nhttps://db.satnogs.org/satellite/32953/\n\n- That shows a lot of failed observations (in red), so I clicked on\nthe red \"X\" button underneath \"Status\" to filter them out. (I mention\nthis because it seems a little counter-intuitive to me.)\n\n- That left this list of observations marked \"Good\":\nhttps://network.satnogs.org/observations/?future=1&good=1&bad=0&unvetted=1&failed=1&norad=32953&observer=&station=\n \n- For each of those, you can visit the individual observation page and\nsee the waterfall, and listen to the original recordings. There's one\nfrom March and one from April.\n\nNow, about those observations...looking at the waterfall, I don't see\nany sign of CW in them. Observations are marked good or bad by the\nperson who scheduled them, and occasionally mistakes are made.\nHowever, you may want to listen to the audio -- I have had\nobservations where CW was faintly audible, even if it didn't show up\nin the waterfall.\n\nAs for whether it's alive -- doesn't look good so far :-( but I'll let\nfolks who know more give a more definitive answer.\n\nHope that helps!\n\n73,\nHugh\n\n-- \nHugh Brown - VA7UNX\nhttp://saintaardvarkthecarpeted.com\n", "attachments": [] }
