    "content": "Many thanks to all who have contributed to the\nSputnik-1 celebrations today.\n\nMy PC (active while I was at work) will submit a SWL\nreport across the pond for a certificate of the AO-51\n\"expression\" this morning - although my .wav fie was\nrunning fast for some strange reason. This is a\ntimeshifted swl report. Thanks.\n\nThanks also to Rob G8ATE for the contact on GB5OSO\njust now. Despite the best efforts of Midland\nMainline, who cancelled my train and delayed the one\nhalf an hour later by 10 mins (how do you explain the\nprpblem to customer service?) I made a breathless\ncontact with GB5OSO on SO50 at my TCA. Breathless\nbecause of the hill on the way home as well as the\nexcitement.\n\nG0SFJ will support the National Space Centre ARS\nGB2NSC on Saturday and Sunday with operation on the\nbirds /QRP/P with an Arrow, and with a private\nexhibition of Sputnik 1 memorabilia, largely radio\noriented, as you might expect. I'll also have a unique\nCD of recordings from various sputniks and vostoks\nmade by Roy Rippin 50 years ago, he is an SWL in our\nlocal Radio club, Welland Valley ARS. And of course\nI'll demo my Sputnik-1 TLE's **LIVE**(less 50 years).\n\nMany thanks to all.
