    "content": "I am doing the last bit of packing for my trip to Las Vegas tomorrow.  I \nam taking gear with me to operate AO-16, AO-27, SO-50 and AO-51.  Just \nbefore posting this email, I saw an update from N8MH that AO-16 may be \nsilent due to the eclipse period it is now in, so operating from that \none may not be an option.  That should still leave me the FM birds to \nwork with.  If I get off the plan and to the rental car in time Monday, \nI should be able to operate a couple of the morning passes.  I have a \nmid day meeting with a vendor which should finish in time to operate a \ncouple of the afternoon passes.\n\nNo sure how much time I will have during the week but will try to \noperate when I can.  I try announce my presence on the passes I will be \non as KA4KYI Portable followed by the grid square I am operating from. \nMy signal may not be the best since I will be operating with handhelds \nand minimal antennas.  I hope to operate with mag mount antennas on the \nrental car and a 3 element uhf beam from Arrow for the downlink.  I am \ntaking an AL-800 and my trusty IC-W32 for some operating possibilities \nfrom where I will be in Vegas.\n\nRon\nKA4KYI\n",
