The time I have available to read it\nand second, names that over time I've noted they usually don't add much to\nthe technical side of this hobby (heck...I am on that same lacking list).\nNo matter how you slice it, moderation is equal to at least some sort of\ncensorship. For good or for bad. A well ran, moderated list is a private\nthing and it could be a very good thing indeed. Unfortunately, I see this\nparticular list remaining as it is, junke or not.\n\nGary Memory, N7BRJ\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Alan P. My suggestion is just\nset up some filtering on messages, since posters normally include their call\nand/or name, and responders usually include the original posting. As to how\neffective this is, I had to look in my TWIT folder to see what all the fuss\nwas about. In my case, it only takes two filtered calls to \"moderate\"\nAMSAT-BB to my satisfaction. \n\n\"Don't read, don't reply\" is an effective motto. Having accidentally\ntripped over some topic filters in the past, I don't think we need to add\nmore restrictions here. My 2¢ worth.\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected]. Opinions expressed are those of the author.\nNot an AMSAT-NA member?
