"content": "Hi Rajesh,\n\n wonderful! I have been hoping to organize something like this here\nin my neighbourhood. To that end I had contacted the CBC (Canadian\nBroadcast Organization) who have offered to do a spot on radio about\nlearning amteur radio, and perhaps they will put an article on their\nwebpage.\n\n When I saw your notice on Southgate News this morning I sent the\nlink to our CBC reporter.\n\n Thanks and good luck.\n\n On another note, I thought that I could do a quick demonstration for\nCBC and still keep personal spacing by taking my TMV-71A with an Arrow\nAntenna and working a couple of stations on the FM satellites. It has\nbeen several months since I've been on satellite, hopefully I won't\ndisappoint the reporter with zero contacts. When we set up a time for\nthe demonstration I may post something on this list. Its 5AM at the\nmoment and its -31C at the moment, fortunately its expected to warm up\nto -20C during the day, good enough for a few minutes of operating\noutdoors :-)\n\n Ron VE8RT Yellowknife, NT DP22\n\nOn Sat, 28 Mar 2020 10:42:27 +0530\nRajesh Vagadia - VU2EXP via AMSAT-BB <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> (Initiative to popularise Ham Radio and Amateur Radio Satellite activities)\n> \n> *ARE YOU TIRED IN LOCKDOWN?*\n> \n> *Indian Students *are offered to* Learn from Home* about Interesting\n> Scientific Hobby - *Amateur Radio!*\n> \n> *Dear students & friends,*\n> \n> Feel Free to *Learn & Ask any Questions* regarding; Ham radio, It's\n> Applications, Operating Procedure, Getting Licence, Amateur Satellites,\n> ARISS Events, Satellite Communication, Ham events, Emergency Communication\n> etc.\n> \n> *WhatsApp any of your Questions* to active Indian Ham Operator\n> Rajesh P.
