    "content": "Hello All,\n \nI am looking for a scanner that I could use with a Hamtronics preamp as a downlink.  The scanner should be able to step in 1 KHZ steps or less, receive on FM and maybe be used in the 137 MHZ range for WX sats.  Portability and price are a MAJOR consideration.  Let me know if anyone else is using such an item and the make/cost.\n \nThanks and 73,\n \nJames Hickox, AA5AO\nEM02\n \n \n",
