"content": "A 5 Band VUCC award sound interesting. Would it allow existing VUCC\ncontacts already in LOTW\nto be used for credit or require all New & Separate ones?\n\nCurrently the existing VUCC rules however state that Repeater Like QSOs are\nNOT allowed,\nand that means NO Satellites!\n\nI agree with the rules as written and cant support adding Non Terrestrial\ncontacts to a Terrestrial award!\n\nIf we allow this to happen it muddies the waters from that point on,\ndisrespecting everyone who in the\npast worked their butts off to accomplish something not easy to do. The\nfact it was hard made the goal\nworth chasing. The argument its too hard and discourages others Holds No\nWater. If you want something\nbad enough you will do whats needed to get it.\n\nI reject your proposal to include Satellite QSOs with Terrestrial QSOs and\nencourage others to do as well.\n\n73s de Tim - K7XC - DM09jh... sk\n\nAdapt, Overcome, Succeed!\n\n\n\n\nOn Mon, Apr 22, 2019 at 3:32 PM Les Rayburn <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> John,\n>\n> My proposal would allow “Satellite VUCC” to count towards 5BVUCC.
