That turned on the light. Exactly what you noted. When i was trying to enter the 2m downlink into VFO A, VFO B was already in 2m. So i set VFO B to 6m and bingo, VFO A was able to go into 2m. Once I put in the downlink, I was able to switch VFO B to 70cmnd program that in. \n\nThanks to Craig for a lot of other good advice and You as well Tom for confirming the problem for others. \n\n \n\nNow to see if I can get on the air.......\n\n \n\n73\n\n \n\nRick Tejera (K7TEJ)\n\nSaguaro Astronomy Club\n\nwww.saguaroastro.org\n\nThunderbird Radio Club\n\nwww.w7tbc.org\n\n623-572-0713\n\n623-203-4121 (cell)\n\[email protected]\n\n \n\nFrom: Tom Moretto [mailto:[email protected]] \nSent: Friday, March 18, 2016 7:59 AM\nTo: Rick Tejera\nSubject: Re: [amsat-bb] Trouble programming a TS-2000\n\n \n\nHi Rick,\n\njust a tip, because it happened to me ;-)\n\nWhen you're going to program one vfo, make sure the other is not on the same band or you won't be abble to enter the qrg.\n\n \n\n73, Tom F8COD\n\n \n\n2016-03-16 5:22 GMT+01:00 Rick Tejera <[email protected]>:\n\nAll,\n\n\n\nCross posting from the amsat-na fb page:\n\n\n\nOK TS-2000 users, I finally have some time and decided to program the sat\nmemories in my TS-2000. Now according to the manual you put the downlink\ninto VFO-A and the uplink into VFO-B. Straight forward enough, problem is\nwhen I select VFO-A on the sub receiver to add it, I can't seem to make it\nfind the 2m band. It goes from 70cm to 6m. I have no idea why it's doing\nthis. Anyone else have this problem?\n\n\n\nRick Tejera (K7TEJ)\n\nSaguaro Astronomy Club\n\nwww.saguaroastro.org\n\nThunderbird Radio Club\n\nwww.w7tbc.org\n\n623-572-0713\n\n623-203-4121 (cell)\n\[email protected]\n\n\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
