    "content": "I picked up an early PicoPacket at a recent flea and I'm trying to set it up\nfor the handheld and the sats.\n\nI already have a TNC-3 (ver 6.0) so naturally I figured that I could work\nout the commands. Not so.\n\nI got it talking to the computer at 9600 baud but any sent packets are read\non the screen as gibberish (though real alphabetic/numeric gibberish, not\nthe symbols you see when you are at the wrong baud rate.)\n\nOf course there is no quick start guide or manual with it and the company\nseems to have successfully kept such things off the net. I have Googled what\nlittle brains I have left, out.\n\nCan someone help walk me through a basic setup or does anyone have a copy of\nthe quickstart guide (or the manual if it's not too long?)\n\nStartup version is 1995 so it doesn't have any of the 2 port upgrades to it\nor anything...just plain old vanilla.\n\nPlease reply off list direct to Rogerkola at aol dot com.\n\nThanks in advance!\n\nRoger\nWA1KAT\n\n\n",
