"content": "Roger,\n\nAs Mark said, it is probably either a QTH or a KEPS issue. Most likely QTH,\nsince by default they look at the same keps. I keep ITrack around to break\nthe tie whenever there is a discrepancy with other programs. That tells me\nwhere to look for the glitch. While not as detailed, the real time tracking\nfeature on the AMSAT-NA web site can provide some information. \n\nGood luck,\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Roger Swickis\nSent: Thursday, April 15, 2010 1:39 AM\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] SatPC32\n\nDear Folks,\n\nI am attempting to get myself back on the satellites and am having some\nproblems with SatPC32.\n\nAlthough WinAOS gives me accurate satellite position data, SatPC32 does not.\nFurthermore satellite AOS/LOS data is different between the two programs,\nsometimes by a half an hour.\n\nI have checked all the settings and have tried updating the Keps but can't\nseem to get the program to display accurate data.\n\nHas anyone had this problem or does anyone know if there way around this\nother than re-installing SatPC32? (I'd rather not have to input all the\nsettings again if I don't have to.)\n\nThanks\n\nRoger VA7MG\n\n\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
