Turned off all\nthe equipment waited a while then turned everything back on.\n\nThe FT-736 didn't come back on, so I assumed the power supply,\nas this is a common problem with the rigs as they get older.\n\nBought a repair replacement kit for the electrolytic caps\nin the power supply, which is normally the problem. They get\nbaked and fail.\n\nGot the power supply out last night to do the repairs and\nI discovered it was the SCR in the power supply that had\ntotally burned up. Weird.\n\nDoes anyone here have or know a Digi-key or Mouser part\nnumber for the SCR or an equivalent compatible part?\nIt labeled SCR21 on P.C. board.\n\nThanks\nVince ", "attachments": [] }
