    "content": "Hi John,\n\nI would say it's pretty much dead.  It's just the fact nobody wants to play \ntaps.  Many, including myself, would just love to have it magically \nre-appear and work like nothing ever happened.  Unfortunately, I don't see \nthis occuring.  I can't seem to recall if there ever was an \"official \nbulletin\" indicating that AO-40 is indeed dead.
