When Yuri left port in Nicaragua a\nfew days ago, he emailed the bad news that his 12v power supply that\nruns his IC706 had failed and could not be fixed.\n\nThis prompted an effort to find a way to replace that power supply and\ninsure continued operating as he sails up to Montreal Canada.\nThe solution was eventually found and thanks to the efforts of Captain\nManolis Joannou, HP1CQ, Yuri continues to operate.\n\nAn abbreviated version of the story of International good will and\nextreme determination to succeed is now posted on my website.
