    "content": "Hi all,\n\n \n\nI am looking for a couple of additional volunteers to help me, and a few\nothers to describe and demonstrate Amateur Radio in Space at a public STEM\nevent called \"Moon Day\" at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, TX on\nSaturday, July 16.  Many different space exploration and astronomy\nexhibitors wil be there as well as well as many interesting seminars for the\npublic, including a talk by Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise.  More\ninformation is available at https://www.flightmuseum.com/moon-day/ . Last\nyear, they had well over 1500 people in attendance.  The event is from\n10A-4P but we will be setting up by 8AM.\n\n \n\nThis event goes very well with the AMSAT Youth and education initiatives.\nFor the AMSAT presence, we will have a version of the AMSAT cubesat\nsimulator, an additional partially completed version, the AMSAT Cubesat\nEngineering Model, Satellite pass demos, and more.  There are lots of\nopportunities to interact with young people and the adults who bring them,\nabout the interesting subject of small satellites, and how AMSAT is\ninvolved. \n\n \n\nI am looking for several others to help with the exhibit.  We will be right\nnext to the Dallas Amateur Radio Club, but I am looking for individuals who\nlike to communicate this stuff to young people.
