When someone is calling another station don't transmit and let the exchange \nprocess completed before calling or answering someone else.\n\nI don't agree with the idea that an FM one channel LEO is better than a transponder one. On VO-52 we can have up to 10 QSO'S on a single \npass at the same time. On a FM repeater satellite it is only one at the time and SO-67 is attracting more users as he's much more powerful \nthan the other cube and numerous new-comer get on with dualband mobile rig with no headphones resulting in a lot of feedback loop.\n\nIt is an entry sat as probably the next one! Could be frustrating sat will be a more appropriate name... ZOO sat can also fit very well and \nif SO-67 usage does not come more disciplined he will never be an easy sat but a hard sat making quite impossible to have some sort of any \ndecent short chat other than callsign/report/grid exchange IMHO it is not what someone who want's to work on the sats need. I still does \nnot understand the AMSAT-NA one single channel FM sat project. There is already very small tranponder board available made by William \nPE1RAH \nWhy not using one on the next AMSAT-NA satellite?\n\nhttp://www.leijenaarelectronics.nl/\n\nP.S. One of William transponder is actually on VO-52 with another one YES 2 transponder on the same sat! Is it possible to have some sort \nof combo on the next AMSAT-NA project no need to have fancy toys just plain transponder and FM cross band repeater on the same cube both \noptions will be satisfied as they can be activated in alternance as AO-51 is working actually.\n\n\n\"-\"\n\n\nLuc Leblanc VE2DWE\nSkype VE2DWE\nwww.qsl.net/ve2dwe\nDSTAR urcall VE2DWE\nWAC BASIC CW PHONE SATELLITE\n\n \n\n", "attachments": [] }
