"content": "Hi Patrick, first like the others, I would like to thank you for \nhelping me out tremendously in achieving VUCC on satellites, even \nthough I still haven't contacted a card checker to actually get the \naward.\n\nFor me though, the way things are, it looks like I'll be able to work \nthe 49 states, but Hawaii is impossible at this time due to my \nlocation in south Florida.\n\nOne thing that concerns me is what in the world do you plan to do when \nyou retire? I don't know your age, but at this rate, I think you will \nhave seen just about every grid in the states. I think you once told \nme you knew another language or two, other than Spanish - you might \nhave to learn Chinese so you can retire over there. After all, they \nhave a huge country, and a lot of grids!\n\nI'm still waiting to get back on the birds once Yaesu tells me what's \nwrong with my rotors. It's gone back and forth from Florida to \nCalifornia several times already. Counting the distance of the \nsatellite contacts, and the distance the post office has taken that \nthing from coast to coast, could be a new record - someone should \ncreate the 'MMR Award\", most miles rotor award.\n\n73 de W4AS\nSebastian\n\nOn Aug 11, 2009, at 1:37 AM, Patrick STODDARD (WD9EWK/VA7EWK) wrote:\n\n> Hi!\n>\n> After over 3 1/2 years working the satellites, getting on the\n> air for around 6000 satellite QSOs followed by requesting QSL\n",
