"content": "Hi!\n\nAfter a speaking engagement on Saturday (14 February)\nmorning, I'm planning to work some passes from grid\nDM03 in or near Los Angeles before driving home. I had\nasked on Twitter if anyone needed any grids generally\nnear the I-10 freeway between Phoenix and Los Angeles,\nand had one request for DM03. There is a fair amount of\nactivity on SO-50 from DM03, but not so much on the SSB\nbirds lately.\n\nDepending on how the morning goes, I'm tentatively looking\nto be on the air starting with the 2122 UTC AO-7 pass - if\nAO-7 continues on its present pattern. After that pass, I see\npasses on AO-7, FO-29, and SO-50 I can try through 0030\nUTC, when I would plan to start my 6+ hour drive back to\nPhoenix. I may also try to make packet QSOs through the\nISS digipeater on the 2237 UTC and *possibly* the 0015\nUTC pass.\n\nFor the ISS, please use APRS messaging if you are trying\nto work me. If you don't have a program capable of sending\nAPRS messages (like a basic terminal program), it's not\nhard. Type in my APRS call WD9EWK-9, then a space\nfollowed by a colon, and then a brief one-line message. If\nthe ISS digipeater hears your transmission, it will\nretransmit it and I should see it on my TH-D72A.\n\nI will post updates during Saturday on my @WD9EWK Twitter\nfeed. If you don't use Twitter, you can see my Twitter feed at\nhttp://twitter.com/WD9EWK using a web browser. I will also\nhave my TH-D72A squawking my location via APRS as\nWD9EWK-9, and my APRS traffic should be visible at\nhttp://aprs.fi/WD9EWK-9 among other places online.\n\nQSOs will be uploaded to Logbook of the World after the trip,\nincluding the grid locator of wherever I happen to work from. If\nyou would like a QSL card for QSOs on Saturday, please e-mail\nme with the QSO details. If you're in my log, I will be happy to\nsend you a QSL card.\n\n73!\n\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\n",
