    "content": "  Hi Keith, N4ZQ\n\n  I agree with you, however how can we prevent somebody to use the Satellite\ninto Eclipse?\n Fortunately, the Satellite comes into Eclipse over populated areas -like\nEurope-  before and after the midnight, so the traffic is minimal. That's\ngood !\n\n On the other hand, there are several areas where the Satellite has a\nterrible \"jamming\" on the Uplink, in the middle of the night.\n I have observed that, over M.East and W.Asia sometimes the Satellite is\nfully noisy, FMing too.\nProbably because the Satellite subzone between 145.8-146 MHZ is fully\noccupied by pirates, old VHF wireless phones etc.\nSo, even without Ham-users,  sometimes the satellite is fully overloaded.\nThat is very bad in case where the Satellite is into Eclipse but, definitely\nwe can not much to do in order to prevent that.\n\n  As I remember, this Satellite has a function for electric management \n(UVC),\nin order to \"Turn-ON\" automatically the transponder, when came on Sunlight .\nUnfortunately, on UVC appeared a malfunction  @ April'07.\n\nNormally, if the batteries are discharged and the satellite comes into\nEclipse,  the transmitter is turned OFF by the UVC.
