For the lifetime of the\nsatellite we will therefore have to do with active scheduling.\n\n \n\nIn an effort to make this as painless as possible, I would like to request\ncomments on the possible use of regional coordinators, which I believe worked\nquite well for SO-35. Such coordinators would then be responsible for\nsetting up schedules in advance for their specific regions, taking into\naccount obviously the pool of possible satellite passes, as well as local\nevents / fairs etc. We would then simply load the schedules on a weekly\nbasis.\n\n \n\nUp 'till now I have mainly focused on Europe, RSA, South America, North\nAmerica / Canada, Japan and Australia / NZ. I would like to invite\nsuggestions for use of the payload over other regions as well. This adds to\nthe previous point.\n\n \n\nRegarding possible activation at night: this is entirely possible, but would\nhave to be planned / managed more actively, given the power limitations in\neclipse. We have yet to experiment with this and see what the available\ncapacity would be.\n\n \n\nPlease mail responses to this bulletin board, or if you prefer, to my work\naddress: jak \"at\" sunspace \"dot\" co \"dot\" za\n\n \n\nBest regards\nJan-Albert (ZR1JAK)\n\n\n\nE-mail Disclaimer\nhttp://www.sunspace.co.za/emaildisclaimer.htm\n\n", "attachments": [] }
