"content": "Hi!\n\nI will be part of the AMSAT table at the Old Pueblo Radio Club's\nhamfest in Tucson AZ tomorrow. The hamfest is at the Kino Sports\nComplex on Ajo Way, east of I-10, in grid DM42me. During the hamfest,\nI am planning to do several satellite demonstrations as WD9EWK.\n\nFor AO-51, I hope to have a Scout at the mic to contact other Scouts \nduring those passes. If not, I will try to make contact with Scouts,\nin keeping with AMSAT's wishes for the AO-51 JOTA configuration this\nweekend. Besides AO-51, I plan on trying SO-50, FO-29, and VO-52. \n\nThis will be the first time I will do demonstrations on non-FM \nsatellites with my two FT-817NDs at a hamfest. On FO-29, I tend to \nend up around 435.850-435.855 MHz on the downlink. For VO-52, I \ngenerally work around 145.910-145.915 MHz on the downlink. Of course, \nif there are stations around these spots already, I will move to another \nspot on the passbands - probably a little higher - so my non-automated\nstation doesn't QRM others. \n\nSince the ISS will be passing by in the morning, I will be listening \nduring those passes. If someone is on the microphone up there making \ncontacts, I will try to make a contact from the hamfest. \n\nI will send QSL cards to all stations that make contacts with WD9EWK\nfrom the hamfest. No need to send me anything first, if we make a \ncontact tomorrow. \n\n73!\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\n\n",
