    "content": "Scott,\n\nI'm embarrassed to say that I've never done anything personally with \nNBEMS.  What I\nknowabout it isfrom a presentation at my radio club.  We have had a \ngroup that was\nexperimenting with NBEMS on the club repeater.  Don't know whether they \nare still\ndoing it, though.  They weren't using any special interface between \nradios and\ncomputers - speaker output to microphone input in both directions.  I'd \nlike to try\nNBEMS on the FM birds simply as a way of experimenting with using LEO \nbirds for\nemergency response.\n\nAs you mentioned, there is a lot of sites out there describing how to \nuse NBEMS using\nFldigi/Flmsg.  I have not seen anything specific, yet, regarding to \nusing NBEMS over\na satellite.  I'm sure that there are attendant challenges and \nopportunities doing so.\nDoppler shift and signal quality will be the main challenges.
