This is northwest of Cabo San\nLucas, near the southern tip of the peninsula. SO-50 will be\nover the eastern Pacific Ocean during this pass, meaning the\nfootprint won't make it all the way to the Mississippi River.\n\nDL43 has been on the satellites in past years, thanks to\nBernardo XE2HWB (worked satellites in the past, also active\nin VHF/UHF/microwave contests from up and down the Baja\nCalifornia peninsula), but not recently. DL42 is almost entirely\nwet, except for the small bit of land in the northeast corner\nof the grid - similar to grid CM86 at Santa Cruz in northern\nCalifornia.\n\nXE2AT mentioned earlier this morning that he plans to use LOTW\nto confirm these contacts, along with the contacts he made\nearlier this morning. He's also good at answering QSL requests\nmailed to his PO box in Aguascalientes, although the Mexican\npostal system is not the most reliable.\n\nGood luck, and 73!\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\nTwitter: @WD9EWK\n", "attachments": [] }
