You may be aware that there are offshore sellers on eBay who offer\nUSB-to-Yaesu-data-plug cables that are inexpensive and work perfectly -\nhere, at least.\n\nAs noted, the Aspire has three USB ports. \n\nBest of luck with your station and a netbook!\n\n73,\n\nTim - N3TL\nAthens, Ga. - EM84ha \n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of ANTHONY JAPHA\nSent: Thursday, December 03, 2009 4:46 PM\nTo: amsat-bb\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Netbooks\n\nHi All,\nHas anyone used SatPC32 with a netbook computer? I'd appreciate your\ncomments. Which netbooks do best? What ports do netbooks come with?\n\nI just tried SatPC32 on AO-7 with an old Dell Inspiron 3800. It works well\ncontrolling 2 FT-817s in the shack. When outside, using a charged battery,\nit was very slow. I had to restart SatPC32 a couple of times, and, as a\nresult, lost at least 2 QSOs with Europe. Maybe it's time for a change.\n\nTnx and 73,\nTony, N2UN\nLM 183\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
