There is\na proposal process through which schools and other organizations are\nselected to participate in the program. Currently there are two open\nwidows for proposals each year. We are current in one of those windows\nthat closes March 31, 2020, for contacts that will occur January 1, 2021\nthrough June 30, 2021. The process is explained and proposal forms can be\nfound at https://www.ariss.org/apply-to-host-an-ariss-contact.html\n\nIt is a great program and a real adventure for the students.\n\nIf there a further questions please send them to\[email protected]\n\nThank you for your interest in the ARISS program\n\nJohn Kludt, K4SQC\nARISS US Technical Mentor Team Lead\n\n\nOn Fri, Feb 21, 2020 at 11:32 PM KA9QJG via AMSAT-BB <[email protected]>\nwrote:\n\n>\n> Hello hope Everyone is doing well Heatwave N/W Indiana almost 50 tomorrow\n> and our first little local Ham fest of the yr\n>\n> I have a Amateur Radio Op friend who is also a School teacher 1 through 8\n> , He has got authorization to get some who are interested in Amateur\n> radio He has applied for a FCC School Club call I think this is a great\n> idea to teach the Young generation to put down their cell phones and\n> tablets and learn this form of Communications too .
