    "content": "Hello Jerry,\n\nThe rigs must have a computer control capability.\nLotsa modern rigs can be computer controlled.\nLike the IC-706 family, IC-703+, IC-910H, and some of the Yaesu rigs, \nFT-736R and later.\nKenwoods like the TS-2000, etc.\n\nLook at the rig manual and see if it can be computer controlled.\nSome rigs need a RS-232 connection to a computer via a null modem cable.\nOthers need an interface box like the ICOM CT17 for electrical level \nconversion from RS-232 levels.\n\nOlder rigs may not have a computer control capability.\n\nWhat rigs do you want to be computer controlled  ??\n\nStan, W1LE\n\n\nJerry Felts wrote:\n> Say to make the puter control both my rigs don't they have to\n> connected in some way??
