When it comes from\nthe south you will notice that it is easy to get digipeated since a big\npart of the Continental US will be outside the footprint. Once the\nsatellite enters higher latitudes you'll notice that is harder to get\nthrough. Once the footprint hits Europe and US is inside it, start praying\nbut don't go crazy with the send button as it will make things worst.\n\nAs for the delay I always recommend keeping it at 0 unless you have some\nkind of preamp that goes offline for several seconds. If the satellite\ndoesn't pick you up it won't matter if you set it to 5, to 0 or to 1000.\n\nBest of luck from Nogales! 73\n\nFernando KF7R\n\nOn Wed, Mar 15, 2023, 3:56 PM alex weimer via AMSAT-BB <[email protected]>\nwrote:\n\n> Thanks Sergei: I was worried maybe my antenna didn't have enough gain but\n> I hear the satellite very well.
