    "content": "It is with great sadness that I learned of Dee's passing today.\n\nDee was a long time friend and hard working AMSAT volunteer.  He took his \nAMSAT Area Coordinator position seriously, by continuously representing \nAMSAT at many, many hamfests over the years. He was a primary resource in \nresponding to questions via the Web site and people calling the AMSAT \noffice. You could always depend upon Dee to help out at the AMSAT booth at \nDayton each year. He and Ginny would attend the yearly AMSAT Symposiums and \nDee would many times be at the AMSAT Board Meetings.
