    "content": "Hi All,\n\n \n\nI am an MSc. student starting work on my final dissertation. My dissertation\ntopic is: \"A low cost autonomous satellite tracking system\". The intention\nis to build a tracking system with roughly the following specifications:\n\n \n\n-         PC independent\n\n-         microcontroller based\n\n-         (car) battery powered\n\n-         SGP/SDP tracking algorithms\n\n-         Time and position acquisition possible via serial port from GPS\nreceiver\n\n-         Transceiver control over serial port\n\n-         Tracking HW control loop for Azimuth and Elevation\n\n-         Ethernet connection to acquire TLE's - the idea here is to collect\nTLE's and store them for later mobile/portable use.\n\n \n\nTo complete my understanding on what is out there I have the following\nquestions:\n\n \n\nWhich PC based tracking SW are you using?\n\n \n\nWhich non-PC based tracking SW are you using?\n\n \n\nWhich PC connected tracking HW are you using?\n\n \n\nWhich non-PC connected tracking SW/HW are you using?\n\n \n\nAre the above specifications sufficient?
