    "content": "Hi folks,\n \nA short time ago, two ARISS antennas for L/S band were installed on the\nEuropean Space Laboratory Columbus. The Columbus module will be delivered to\nthe International Space Station by a Shuttle mission in 2008. These antennas\nand associated equipment will allow us to work with and through the ISS on L\nand S band. This will be just fantastic and opens up great opportunities for\nAmateur Radio on the ISS. ARISS-Europe and its chairman Gaston Bertels ON4WF\nhave done a tremendous job getting this done with the help of many others.\nSignificant funds were raised by folks all around the globe and ESA\n(European Space Agency) has taken on a major portion of the cost.
