My elevation rotor\nstill operates up and down as usual. However, when I hold the \"Up\" key when\nthe elevation starts at 0 degree's, within a second or two the meter shoots\nup to 180 degree's. However, if I keep holding the \"Up\" switch, the\nelevator still goes smoothly as usual but the meter stays at the 180 mark.\nWhen I hit the down button the elevation meter jumps back to 0 degrees in\na second or two. This while the rotator is still smoothly declining.\n\nI retinned and rehooked the cables at the box entrance thinking one may have\nshorted from box movement. Same result. Would a short somewhere down the\nline cause this or do I have a bad meter or box switch. My mast mounted\nelevation rotor works fine as far as functionality, just can't get the\nreadings on the meter. Of course, this throws off the LVB Tracker.\n\nAny other thoughts?\n\nGreg\nN3MVF\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
