I'll primarily\nbe trying to work the eastern Canada and northeastern parts of the US,\nand we'll see about Continental passes (as i've had rather disappoiting\nresults trying to operate from France on two previous occasions). I\nwill be using an antenna similar in characteristics to an 'Arrow' and\nrun QRP.\n\nIf i've figured this correctly, likely grid squares include IO66, IO75, \nIO76, IO77, IO85, IO86 and IP90; and possible grids are IO67, IO78, \nIO87, IO88 and IO99. I'll use what is customary in each region, that\nis, a four-way exchange with six character grid squares working Europe \nand the quicker exchange with four character grids expected in North \nAmerica (in order to maximize satellite usage). I may post specifics \nto the AMSAT-BB if Internet access is convenient while i'm over there. \nNote that i won't be quite as active as on my two recent road trips as \ni won't be traveling solo (and have no idea what my western horizons \nwill look like).\n\nAs usual, with North America, i will send out QSL cards after i return\nhome and get a chance to transcribe all of the passes; you don't need \nto send me a card or SASE. Just patience is all that i ask if i already\nhave your grid square. However, if i have not worked you before, i'd\ngreatly appreciate it if you would set up a sked to work me at home\n(primarily CM88, also CM87; your choice) so i can send you (at least) \ntwo cards. Cards from Europe would be appreciated and you will likely\nget my card even if you don't send yours. \n\nI hope to talk to you. 73's and best of luck!\n\n\t\t -- KD6PAG (Networking Old-Timer, Satellite QRPer)\n", "attachments": [] }
