Yaesu\nsays \"no\", and it was hard to find those with direct experience in\nparts swap.\n\nIt may be possible to overhaul the rotor yourself, depending on what's\ndamaged. I've regreased mine, repaired the motor, cleaned the brake,\nrealigned the sensors, etc. Photos in the links below (for the 5500\nbut 5400 is similar). The process is rather involved, but if you have\nlots of patience, it might be possible get the thing running again.\n\nhttp://kb5wia.blogspot.com/2012/03/yaesu-g5500-rotator-motor-repair.html\nhttp://kb5wia.blogspot.com/2012/03/az-el-antenna-system-new-70cm-yagi-and.html\n\nBest regards,\n\nDave KB5WIA\n\n\nOn Sun, Jun 24, 2012 at 9:28 PM, George Henry <[email protected]> wrote:\n> Does anyone know offhand whether the \"guts\" of any particular past or\n> present Yaesu rotor are a direct replacement for those of a G-5400B azimuth\n> rotor?
