"content": "ICOM trash software for the D800H is terrible, and the OPC-UP478C serial to\nUSB adapter that they sell as an accessory will not work on Vista. The FTDI\nchips are the best solution, but ICOM doesn't make money selling an FTDI\nsolution. \nAfter an IC-820 and the D800 I am looking for another brand of radio. \nWill their new radio USB run on Vista? \nArt\nKC6UQH\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of w8iss\nSent: Sunday, August 23, 2009 5:09 PM\nTo: Bruce Robertson\nCc: AMSAT-BB\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: New ICOM VHF / UHF / SHF Radio\n\nOn Sun, 2009-08-23 at 20:56 -0300, Bruce Robertson wrote:\nFinally, it appears this rig has a USB port.
