Using my TH-D74A\nand Elk log periodic in the back yard, along with some prepared\nmessages instead of fumbling on the keypad to type out my grid\nlocator and \"tnx\" or \"73\" to end QSOs, I'm happy we could make\nthat exchange.\n\nBefore you showed up, I had made QSOs with KK6OTJ in southern\nCalifornia and KC7MG south of the Phoenix area. I saw one other\nstation before my LOS, KB6LTY-2 who was also in southern California.\n\nWorking you wasn't my longest-distance QSO on the 70cm ISS packet\ndigipeater, but it was pretty good at just over 1900km.
