Mount the Arrow at 30 deg elevation and you should be\ngood to go. The only dwon side is the same downside of solid mounting an\nArrow on anything. with a handheld Arrow you will always see people\nrotating it around the axis of the boom for maximum signal strength on\nreceive The on transmit they will rotate their hand to get the transmit\nelements in about the same plane as the recieve elements were for mx\nsignal. So you will loose a bit of signal. If you already have the TV\nrotator, give it a go. The other thing to watch is your feedline.\nDepending on length you might want to consider at least LMR 400. If it is\nlong given the feedline losses at 432 MHz, LMR 600 if you can find it\ncheaply enough is even better.\n\nHope that helps,\n\nJohn\n\nOn Wed, Nov 21, 2018 at 12:59 PM ronald mosher <\[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> I am going to build an Az/El rotator, but that will take a while.
