"content": "FYI for operators using the IC-970 radio. I blew my AG-25 preamp once as \na result of switching the satellite mode knob while PTT was still \nengaged. I never tried to duplicate this action of course, but it seems \nthe radio logic got confused during the change and the sequencer did not \nkill the TX power.\n\n\n>\n> ----------------------------------------------------------------------\n>\n> Message: 1\n> Date: Thu, 23 Apr 2009 20:45:40 -0600\n> From: \"Yokshs\" <[email protected]>\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] AG-35 smoke test\n> To: \"Amsat BB\" <[email protected]>\n> Message-ID: <0CD166CE3BF94D2B91D05ECD6D2CCCBC@main>\n> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=\"iso-8859-1\";\n> \treply-type=original\n>\n>\n> Luc,\n>\n> Thanks for the reply.\n>\n> Did you have to remove the relay to replace the FET? Just curious. I've got \n> my AG-35 down off the tower and on the bench now. The FET is so close\n> to one of the relays, I'm pretty sure it'll have to be removed to replace \n> the FET..
