    "content": "My current 'main' PC is about 10 years old now, and is getting slow\n\n(Medion Desktop, 10 yr old P4/3 GHz/2.5 GB with Win XP).\n\n \n\nI would like to have your inputs on what the next one should be.\n\n \n\nFor all kinds of reasons, I want to keep Windows as the O/S.\n\nPlus I assume I will slowly upgrade from 2 to 3 monitors.\n\n \n\nTaking into account the future will bring \n\n-          more SDR\n\n-          more Spectran/Spectrum/WSJT like SW\n\n-          more need to run multiple programs simultanious\n\n \n\nShould I go for an i3, i5 or i7 processor?\n\nWhat is the best way to still have (via USB?) serial connectors?\n\nAny other topics to consider?\n\n \n\nHenk, PA3GUO\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n",
