    "content": "Hi all,\nJust had a pass with AOS at 0946 UTC here \nin Copenhagen.\n\nIt works as described on the page:\n\nhttp://www.amsatsa.org.za/\n\nIt means that you do not need the PL-tone once \nthe transponder is started.\nIn fact do not set the tone ON. The transponder \nsounds better without the tone.\n\nAs before use FMN on the uplink - and turn the AF gain \ndown until your modulation sounds good to yourself.\n\nUse of high power also seems to distort the audio on \nthe downlink.\n\nThis is just the experience from one short pass :-)\n\nThe list on the homepage above may not be up to date \nall the time. When we receive confirmed lists from \nthe control station we will publish on amsat-bb.\nDepending upon the time of the day - may need to sleep \nevery now and again.\n\nThis week until Monday next week I have only asked for \nmorning passes over Europe.\nNext week I will ask for afternoon passes as well \nwhen the satellite is in Sun.\n\nPlease remember we are just passengers on Sumbandilasat.\nIf there are other tasks they take priority.\n\n73 OZ1MY\nIb\n\n",
