"content": "The primary question about a box is how quiet electrically the unit is.\nMost such units generate at least a minor amount of RF, and it is most\neasily filtered at the source in a metal box.\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\nPS. Dayton was indeed great. I worked software, and people kept getting\ndistracted looking at the LVB tracker!\n\n\n\n\n\nAnyone bring the J4 buttons signals out to pushbuttons on the front \npanel of their trackers?\nThey are sorta redundant if the tracker is located close to the rotor \ncontrol box.\n\nPlastic or metal box??? Willing to pay extra for metal???\n\nTrying to determine what is generally acceptable for a box design.\n\nHAD A BLAST AT DAYTON!!!\n\nThanks,\n\nMike, WB8CXO\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
