My equipment was\n Wouxan handheld and Arrow Antenna. I had my Yaesu VX-8R equiped with a\nrubber duck antenna laying on the ground. Near the closest approach I could\nalso hear the transmission through it. Load enough at times I turned down\nits volume so not to interfere with my recording.\n\n>From the recording I was able to decode the SSTV transmissions using the\nSSTV app on my iPad (I didn't think of trying this direct in the field)\nthese images are at\nhttp://www.kc8yld.com/5Aug2011-1126.png\nhttp://www.kc8yld.com/5Aug2011-1128.png<http://www.kc8yld.com/5Aug2011-1126.png>\nhttp://www.kc8yld.com/5Aug2011-1130.png<http://www.kc8yld.com/5Aug2011-1126.png>\n\nEMike, KC8YLD\n\nE.
