"content": "Manchester is NRZ data X OR with data clock. If data is low or high you see \nthe clock frequency the clock shifts half a cycle on each transistion. This \nwas devloped for the IBM Data tape transports in the 60 of the last century. \nIts main advantage is the base line remains adverage of half the P-P of the \ndata. The disadvantage is your baud rate and the modulation frequency are \nnow the same rate.\n\nArt, KC6UQH\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"RFI-EMI-GUY\" <[email protected]>\nTo: \"Jim Sanford\" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]>\nSent: Thursday, March 27, 2008 8:49 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: MANCHESTER encosing schemes\n\n\nThanks Jim!\n\nJim Sanford wrote:\n>\n> See Embedded Systems Design for Feb 2008. www.embedded.com\n> 73 and good luck!\n> Jim\n> [email protected]\n>\n>\n> RFI-EMI-GUY wrote:\n>> Can anyone point me to some simple schemes for Manchester encoding\n>> and decoding.
