You need\n67Hz tone to make it repeat your signal. The\nsatellite must decode your signal before it will\nturn on the transitter. If you start talking\nimmediately, the first letter or two of your\n callsign will not be heard. If you are not\nknown, others may get your callsign wrong. Those\nthat are full duplex have the advantage of hearing\nwhat gets transmitted. Those that are not, don't\nrealize what is happening.\n\nSo just key up and pause a half-second before giving\nyour callsign.
