    "content": "For those across this side of the pond and those who may be visiting, Martin\nSweeting (G3YJO and Chairman of AMSAT-UK) will be presenting this lecture\nentitled \n\n\"Ordinary components, extraordinary missions - the role of small satellites\nin space exploration\" on Tuesday 19th January 2010.\n\nThe lecture will be in London.\n\n\"The Appleton Lecture was established in 1965 to commemorate the life and\nwork of Sir Edward Appleton, a widely honoured physicist and Nobel Prize\nwinner who is mainly noted for research into the upper atmosphere. Professor\nSir Martin Sweeting's talk will be the 45th in the series.\"\n\nThis lecture is free to attend and you do not have to be a member of the\nIET.\n\nIt is first come.
