I use a computer\nprogram to help with Doppler shift and to manage satellite memories. On AO-7\nand VO-52 I have the following set as the middle of the pass band. This is\nwhat I set into the radio VFO. I have noticed that I have to adjust the\ntransmitter frequency. I thought that the TX and RX would track each other?\n\n\n \n\nDoes the relationship between TX and RX frequencies on the satellite change?\n\n\nIf I am setting the wrong base frequency into my VFO's for these two\nsatellites, what are better frequencies to use?\n\n \n\nThanks\n\n \n\n \n\n\nSatellite\n\nLower\n\nUpper\n\nmiddle\n\n\nVO-52A\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n\nUPLINK\n\n435.2200\n\n435.2800\n\n435.2500\n\n\nDOWNLINK\n\n145.8700\n\n145.9300\n\n145.9000\n\n\n \n\n\t\t \n\n\nVO-52B\n\n\t\t \n\n\nUPLINK\n\n435.2250\n\n435.2750\n\n435.2500\n\n\nDOWNLINK\n\n145.9250\n\n145.8750\n\n145.9000\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\nAO-7 A\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n\nUPLINK\n\n145.8500\n\n145.9500\n\n145.9000\n\n\nDOWNLINK\n\n29.4000\n\n29.5000\n\n29.4500\n\n\n \n\n\t\t \n\n\nAO-7 B\n\n\t\t \n\n\nUPLINK\n\n432.1250\n\n432.1750\n\n432.1500\n\n\nDOWNLINK\n\n145.9750\n\n145.9250\n\n145.9500\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nMike McConnell, Ph.D.\n\nW0PD\n\n1518 Willson Ave.\n\nWebster City, IA 50595\n\n515-835-9363\n\n \n\n \n\n", "attachments": [] }
