    "content": "Hi Ray,\nHad same problem with mine also. Mine is in attic too. After doing some examination of the azimuth rotor I found that it was heating up from the attic heat and the gear grease was coming out of the side. So just replace the AZ unit. Not much help but I believe the attic heat is too much for the rotor. So it would appear the fault is not inside the motor housing but in either the az cable (very unlikely given everything is indoors) or in the az side of the control box. I will do a bit more swapping and see if the az cable can be eliminated as the problem.
