    "content": " Hi Jim, \n \nAs a general principle, I do the following - \na) Under Mode - select \"Frequency at Satellite\" -- click Store to have this set permanently \nb) Under CAT - use the Downlink Correction to tune the CW beacon 800 Hz \nc) Then, under CAT when you click to SSB frequency pair, the Downlink Correction stays put and now you can adjust the Uplink Correction to tune in the Downlink.  \n \nSwitching to \"Frequency at the Satellite\" helps when you watch the pass band limits while scanning across the pass band, using the up/down buttons on the main window, looking for callers.  \n \nOnce I do the three steps outlined above, I can then scan across the pass band and always hear my Uplink quite well, without further adjustments.  It works very well, although I have to do it for every pass, because the corrections are different for every satellite and every pass.  I prefer not to modify the DOPPLER.SQF. \n \nI'm using a IC-7000 for the uplink and a RTL-SDR for the downlink, and as an amusing side note I have checked out the \"outer limits\" of the pass band by going to the extreme ends (+/- 10khz) and watching how my signal gets affected.  \n \nHope it helps, your mileage may vary a bit.  It'll be good to know what worked for you.  \n \n \n73! \nUmesh \nK6VUG \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n    On Friday, March 8, 2019, 8:37:40 AM PST, James Brown <[email protected]> wrote:  \n \n on sat 32pc\nusing ft817 downlink and ic7100 uplink.\n\ncan not get the frequency correction to change and bring uplink onto the downlink  for SSB sats.\n\nreading the sat32 instructions is confusing but still unable to make change. \nMy offset for the uplink is at -8.135 and downlink 2.803.
