"content": "Hey Tim,\n\nI believe most all of the currently available digital recorders will handle MP3 recording. The little recorder I use is too old for that, but I found some freeware on the Web called Kat MP3 Recorder that I'm enjoying very much for a couple of reasons:\n\n1 - It's pretty full featured.\n\n2 - It records durect to an MP3 file.\n\nI like this approach because it allows me to edit pretty much on the fly. If I have a contact in the middle of a pass that I want to save, I can note the start and end time on the recorder, then \"edit on the fly\" use the Kat software. \n\nTim - N3TL\n\n-------------- Original message from \"Tim Goodrich\" <[email protected]>: -------------- \n\n\n> Speaking of recording the passes on a digital recorder (MP3), can anyone \n> recommend an inexpensive mp3 recorder that will allow you to record direct \n> from an HT's audio output line? \n> \n> Thanks, \n> Tim \n> KC2DDS \n> \n> -----Original Message----- \n> From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On \n> Behalf Of [email protected] \n> Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 4:13 PM \n> To: [email protected] \n> Subject: AMSAT-BB Digest, Vol 3, Issue 638 \n> \n> Send AMSAT-BB mailing list submissions to \n> [email protected] \n> \n> To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit \n> http://amsat.org/mailman/listinfo/amsat-bb \n> or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to \n> [email protected] \n> \n> You can reach the person managing the list at \n> [email protected] \n> \n> When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than \n> \"Re: Contents of AMSAT-BB digest...\" \n> \n> _______________________________________________ \n> Sent via [email protected].
