The project sounded very interesting and as I \nremember, Matt said that the ACP project's goal was to send up these \namateur stations on commercial satellites in the geostationary orbit \nso that it eventually, someday, gives a trans-global reach for \namateurs with portable/handheld radios. This was supposed to be an \nalternative to the Eagle project.\n\nI got talking to a friend and fellow operator who used to be very \ninterested in amateur satellite work and he was very interested in \nknowing more about ACP.\n\nIs there a whitepaper, wiki or some kind of documentation briefly \ndescribing the project?\n\nI looked at the AMSAT site and could not find much. Any pointers will \nbe appreciated.\n\n73,\n\n- Siddhartha WV6U\n\n\nClint Bradford, K6LCS / KAF3359\n909-241-7666\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
